Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026.
To keep Oruqo safe and useful, you agree not to:
- Break any law, or use Oruqo for fraud or scams, including fake lost or found reports or asking for money to return a pet.
- Sell, trade, breed or rehome animals through Oruqo, or advertise products or services in community areas.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or that shows animal cruelty.
- Share other people’s personal information (such as phone numbers, addresses or photos of them) without permission.
- Use someone else’s pet tag, QR code, emergency card or lost-pet page to contact or follow that person for any reason other than returning their pet. If you are an Oruqo Provider, use pet or owner information you see for anything other than caring for that pet, as set out in the Provider Terms.
- Try to access other accounts or data, probe or break our security, or overload the Service.
- Use bots, scraping or automated tools to copy the Service or its content.
- Pretend to be a veterinarian, shelter, partner, Oruqo or another person.
We may remove content or suspend or end accounts that break this policy or our Community Guidelines. Report a problem with the Report button in the app or by emailing support@oruqo.com.
