Cookie Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026.
This policy explains how oruqo.com and the Oruqo app use cookies and similar technologies such as local storage.
Essential
We use necessary storage to keep you signed in, remember security settings (such as Face ID unlock), remember choices like hidden Circle Hub members, and make the Service work. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not use advertising cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not tell us who you are.
Optional in-app analytics
Optional feature analytics run only if you agree when the app asks you, and never include pet records, health notes or document contents. You can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. It works immediately, and the optional usage events already saved for your account are deleted.
Provider referral links
If you open an Oruqo Provider’s referral link or scan their referral QR code (oruqo.com/r/…), we record the visit and set two first-party cookies for 30 days: oruqo_ref (the provider’s referral code) and oruqo_ref_pending (a marker that a referral is waiting). If you create an Oruqo account in that time, the sign-up is counted once for that provider. The cookies are cleared the next time you are signed in on that browser. The provider sees only totals, never who signed up. These cookies are not used for advertising. You can delete them in your browser settings at any time.
Advertising
Oruqo does not use advertising cookies, does not run ads from ad networks, and does not sell your data.
Partner and affiliate links
When you click a link to a store or service partner (for example Amazon or the pet food, pharmacy, keepsake and smart home brands in our shop), you leave Oruqo. That partner or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to record that you came from Oruqo so a commission can be credited. Their cookie and privacy policies apply on their sites. Oruqo does not place third-party advertising or affiliate tracking tags on its own pages.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
