Oruqo Provider Terms
Last updated October 19, 2026.
These Oruqo Provider Terms apply to businesses and freelancers that Oruqo has registered and added as Oruqo Providers (for example vets, groomers, pet sitters, boarders, dog walkers, daycares, trainers and service dog trainers or organizations). They are in addition to the Oruqo Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Oruqo is operated by Inga Washington, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, USA.
Sections 2 to 5 apply only when Oruqo has turned on a paid membership for your provider account and you have agreed to it at checkout. If your membership is free, you are never charged and those sections do not apply to you.
1. Who can be a provider
You cannot sign yourself up as a provider. Oruqo registers each provider and adds them itself, and assigns each one exactly one group: Medical, Grooming, Care or Behavior. Oruqo may change your group, or pause or remove you as a provider at any time, for example if these terms are broken or a pet owner complains.
Before you can see any pet information, you must accept the provider agreement in the app. Oruqo keeps a record of when you accepted it.
“Registered Oruqo Provider” (shown on your provider card and in the app) only means that Oruqo added your business and its contact email. Oruqo does not check licenses, qualifications, insurance, background or safety. You must not say or suggest that Oruqo has verified, certified, licensed, vetted, endorsed or background-checked you or your services.
2. Membership and price (only when a paid membership is enabled)
The Oruqo Provider Membership costs $19.99 per month or $199 per year (USD, plus any applicable tax). Oruqo may offer some providers a free membership. If your membership is free, you are not charged anything.
3. Automatic renewal (only when a paid membership is enabled)
A paid membership renews automatically at the end of each period (every month or every year) and your payment method is charged the current price, until you cancel. Before you pay, Oruqo shows the price, the billing period and how to cancel, and asks you to agree to automatic renewal. For yearly memberships, Oruqo will send a reminder before each renewal.
4. Cancellation (only when a paid membership is enabled)
You can cancel anytime from your Oruqo provider dashboard (Manage billing) or by emailing support@oruqo.com. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and then ends; it will not renew again. Oruqo does not give refunds for partial periods unless the law requires it. If Oruqo removes you as a provider, Oruqo will cancel your membership so you are not charged again.
5. Price changes (only when a paid membership is enabled)
Oruqo will tell you about any price change by email and in your dashboard at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price applies. A new price is never charged without that notice.
6. What you see when you scan a pet's QR code
When you are signed in as an Oruqo Provider and scan a pet's Oruqo QR code, you see only the information Oruqo has set for your group (for example, a groomer sees grooming notes and a vet sees health records). You do not see other groups' information. Oruqo records each scan (your business, the pet and the time) and the pet's owner can see that record.
After a scan, you can reopen that pet from your dashboard for 30 days. Access stops right away if the owner turns the pet's Wallet Card off, if the owner deletes the pet or account, or if Oruqo pauses or removes you. The pet then disappears from your dashboard, including its name, breed, species and scan history, and a new scan shows only the public page.
7. Confidentiality and permitted use
You may use the information you see only to care for that pet (for example, to groom, walk, board, treat or train it) and to contact its owner about that care.
You must keep it confidential. You must not copy, screenshot, download, export, sell, rent, share or publish it, use it for marketing or advertising, contact the owner for unrelated sales, or show it to anyone who is not helping to care for the pet. Do not scan a pet's QR code unless the pet is in your care or its owner asked you to.
If you think information was seen or used by someone who should not have it, tell Oruqo at support@oruqo.com right away.
These duties continue after you stop being a provider.
8. Information is entered by the owner and not verified
Pet and owner information in Oruqo is entered by the owner. Oruqo does not check it and does not promise that it is complete, current or correct. Always use your own professional judgment and confirm important details (for example medications, allergies or vaccines) with the owner or the pet's vet. Oruqo is not veterinary advice.
9. Your listing, posts, provider card and referral QR
Your listing and Circle Hub posts must be true and about pets, and must follow the Oruqo Community Guidelines. Your provider card and referral QR code are only for you; do not change them or pretend to be another provider. Oruqo counts visits and new sign-ups that come through your code and shows you the totals; you do not see who signed up.
10. Service dogs
A service dog trainer label in Oruqo only means Oruqo added you as a provider who says it trains service dogs. It is not a certification by Oruqo or by any government. There is no official ADA certification or registry, and Oruqo records or training papers do not give any dog public-access rights. Do not say or suggest that Oruqo certifies dogs, handlers or trainers.
11. No guarantees, limits and indemnity
Oruqo is provided "as is". Oruqo is not part of any agreement between you and a pet owner and is not responsible for your services. To the extent the law allows, Oruqo's total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid in the last 12 months (or US $50 if you paid nothing).
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Oruqo and its owner and operator from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your services, your use of pet or owner information, or your breach of these terms or the law.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Section 17 (Disputes and governing law) of the Oruqo Terms of Service applies to these terms as well.
13. Changes to these terms
Oruqo may update these terms. Oruqo will tell you about important changes before they apply. If you keep using Oruqo as a provider after that, the new terms apply.
